Seaview #1

Room 2703|Oil on canvas 20x40cm 2016

I always paint the outline of a landscape as a way to express my experiences of life and inner self. The scenery crystallizes in my memory. I'm motivated by a wish to express an abstract image that cannot be conveyed by words. My thoughts always occupy the space between reality and imagination. My mind is present in the contours of the land sharing subtle emotions with it. I am eager to depict such a scene, so that I can connect the separate dimensions of reality and the imagination. I usually recall some scenery when I am painting and it is not a specific scene. I include sensations, atmosphere, humidity and temperature in the images. I am using the scenery as a vehicle to carry my imagination. I place myself within it.
