Pull in to shore and go home

Room 902|Oil 24x33cm 2016

It has been a long time that I haven't been back home. Taking advantage of winter vacation, I returned to Kaohsiung and went to the port where I am reminiscent of. Feeling the sea breeze, smelling the salty, listening to the tide and looking far into the ships anchored, I imagined myself as seawater and waves, pushing boats back to the harbor, to their home which spreads arms to hug them.

With the imaginations I have gotten at the port, I sketch out this work in leisure and life-drawing style, fancy the waves transforming into little girls like me, pushing the boats to the shore and going back their home merrily.
